It is our missional vocation...
to nurture spiritual growth, and its joyful expression in service, within and beyond our congregation.
We speak a warm welcome to people of differing ages, abilities, sexual orientations, income levels, religious backgrounds and cultures. Traditional interests are blended with an eagerness to try new things and to be open to the particular gifts and inspirations of those who worship with us.
Southminster United Church is interested in you, and in reaching out to all of our neighbours to explore with you the spiritual longings, wisdom and questions that brought you to this page.

A Green Lent at Southminster: A Grassroots Approach to Climate Action
We will be celebrating a green Lent this year, and welcome all to join in.

At Southminster, we’re giving up single-use plastics, as an approach to end pollution. This will be part of a broader Lenten theme, focused on the environment and the use of plastics. Read more.
