The Book Club will meet on Monday, January 21 at 7:00 pm to discuss Tell by Frances Itani.
The Southminster Book Club meets several times a year in someone’s home, to discuss a selected, non-scripture work with a spiritual theme or message. All are welcome! If you are new to the group, please contact the church office for the location.

Work Party
Every Tuesday from 9:30 am 12 noon a group meets and tackles odd jobs around the building. They do anything from painting, laying tile, refinishing wooden surfaces, repairing concrete, to hanging pictures and running errands. They can always use another helping hand or two. MEET OUR STAFF
Interim Director of Music: Barbara Hallam-Price
Barbara Hallam-Price joined us as Interim Director of Music on February 1, 2022.
Barbara's professional credentials include more than thirty years' experience as an organist and choir leader in a variety of large traditional churches across Canada. Many of you may recall Barbara’s time with us as Interim Director of Music during 2015 and 2016. Most recently, she served as Assistant Organist at Notre Dame Cathedral in Ottawa. She holds a Master in Music Degree from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Music Degree in Organ Performance from the University of Alberta.
Barbara's role includes directing our senior choir and providing music for our Sunday worship services. We are happy to have her as part of our team!

Office Administrator: Martha Hanna
Martha brings a wealth of experience to her position as Office Administrator. Her secretarial work experience includes the State of Oregon, Aldersgate College, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Fifth Avenue Free Methodist Church, Ottawa, and Chapel Ridge Free Methodist Church, Stittsville.
Martha joined the staff of Southminster in the summer of 2002. Among other things, Martha is responsible for the production of the Sunday bulletins and weekly email newsletter. She maintains the church web site, looks after the books and administers rentals. On weekends you will find her providing piano accompaniment for the congregation of St. Andrew's, Aylmer Presbyterian Church.
